Yala National Park Safari
The Department of Wildlife in Sri Lanka has confirmed that the Yala National Park will be Closed for all visitors from 01st September 2017 up until 31st October 2017 due to prevailing dry weather conditions. We have also been notified that Block 05 of the Yala National Park will remain open and accessible to visitors during the aforementioned period. However, we highly recommend only half-day, evening excursions.

Addition to the mammal population, Yala is a true haven for migrate and residence birds including beautiful peacock, Flamingo, Pelican, Spoonbill, painted stork, rare black-necked Stork, grey heron, purple heron, night heron, Darter, garganey, whimbrel, Pigeon, and Flycatchers and more.
