What are the starting and ending times of Kandy Esala Perahera?
There is no fixed start time. On the day of event, “Sri Dalada Maligawa” decide on the start time based on auspicious time of the day. The perahera usually lasts around five (05) hours.
What time I should be seated?
You need to be at the seating location by 4:00pm for the night perahera and 2:00pm for the day perahera. Once you are there, please speak to our ground handling agent for directions to your seat. Seats are allocated on the first-come-first-serve basis. Please note that you will not be able to drive up to the seating location as all roads will be closed in the evening for perahera preparations.
When will I receive my tickets?
We do not issue tickets printed on paper, all you need to do is take a print of the confirmation e-mail you received from our sales agent. On the event day, please hand over the printed confirmation email to our ground handling staff and they will escort you to the reserved seat.
Will my seats be together?
All seats will be arranged together unless explicitly stated otherwise in the order notes.
How will be the Seating arrangements?
All the seating arrangements will be arranged on First come, first serve basis.
Can I cancel my order and obtain a refund?
We are sorry, all sales are final and no refunds.
How about food and beverages?
You are not entitled for any food or beverages as a part of the ticket. However, if you need our assistance in arranging dinner on the event day, we can help you, please do let us know.
